One of my forever-favorite bands, Steely Dan. So tight and well-crafted.
Listen to that horn section - would that there were bands today with horns
like that. Donald and Walter weren't afraid to let the musicians jam
and play extended solos, either. This is a great favorite of mine and
goes out to my good friend, just-passed Don Townsley, mostly recently
teaching at Charlie's Guitars. Don got me re-interested in Steely
Dan while teaching for me back 15 years ago. Thanks Don.
