Tonight we’re playing “Meteor”, a world/new age tune, in C major. And then “Blush”, R&B/Smooth Jazz, in G and Bb. This link:

gets you to all the scales, patterns, and charts used tonight. If you can, it’s usually easiest to use if you print them out.
I’m adlibbing on the bass and voice tonight.
Then around 8:30 pm, its “To Play and Sing” time, my Q&A - anything musical, about your instrument, the voice, practicing, performing, being in a group, etc. Last week we talked about how to figure out the rhythm/strum/accompaniment pattern in a song on bass, and we could continue that for guitar and piano if attendees want to. We won’t know for sure until you bring your questions tonight.
The laws of the State of Texas may require you to come tonight, so be smart, kids, obey the law.
